BrewDog founders change names to fight Elvis lawsuit

BrewDog chiefs rename themselves Elvis by deed poll after Presley estate gets all shook up: James Watt and Martin Dickie, founders of Scottish brewer and retailer BrewDog, have changed their first names to Elvis by deed poll after lawyers from the Presley estate complained about copyright infringement regarding the company’s Elvis Juice beer. 

The company stated on its website: “Here at BrewDog, we don’t take too kindly to petty pen-pushers attempting to make a fast buck by discrediting our good name under the guise of copyright infringement."
