Linkedin endorsements

Having been an earlier adopter of Linked In (I am in the first 1% of members to join) I find that it is now an integral part of my professional life enabling me to keep track of my clients and candidates alike at the touch of a button. I have however been slightly perplexed by the recent phenomenon of endorsements. On the one hand I have been given some great endorsements from valued contacts however on the other I am being endorsed by people who I have had no prior direct contact with who are endorsing me left right and centre for a variety of experience, some of which is completely unrelated to what I do. I was pondering this issue recently following a random endorsement from someone that I didn’t know and came across this article which I would like to share with all you other LinkedInites out there. Enjoy.
